BROKEN ARROW, OK, USA — February 23, 2026 | A recent acquisition within the maintenance and reliability community has resulted in an unforeseen impact to the ICML Board of Directors.

ICML’s bylaws prohibit the simultaneous service of two directors from affiliated companies. In light of just such a development, based on the acquisition, Board Secretary Loren Green has voluntarily resigned his position as an ICML board member after fourteen months of exemplary service. ICML staff are grateful for the professional manner in which this matter has been resolved, reflecting a shared dedication to ICML’s long-term interests.

Loren counts his participation in the selection process of bringing new leadership to ICML as an important and meaningful milestone. He is also proud to have played a part in evolving the ICML board toward a more typical non-profit board composition, as well as being part of the recent creation and launch of the Lubrication Apprentice Technician (LAT) Certification. In the clearest signal of his commitment to ICML’s success, Loren has affirmed his continued service and support as part of ICML’s indispensable volunteer technical team.

As Loren stated in his recent communication to the ICML board: “Being elected to serve on ICML’s board is one of the absolute highlights of my professional life. The decision to step aside is an easy one; it is what is in the best interests of the organization. Having said that, it doesn’t mean it was a painless decision.”

Please join the ICML board and staff in recognizing and congratulating Loren for distinguishing himself by serving and then stepping aside so ICML remains aligned with its bylaws. All of us will miss Loren’s direct board participation and look forward to his continued support as part of ICML’s mission-critical technical team.
